In God's Wrath

Stains of wrath fester inside my veins
New beginnings incubate in primal fears
Still I wonder... if it's going to end tonight.

Every night... in every corner of my plight
i slay my fetus-sin, as if I am to feel once more holy... and whole.

Deprived from lust and cause,
i forge ahead motionless... pointless... void of smell and sigh
Amidst grey pastures and scavengers of greed, feasting on my long-lost youth.

The moment I laid eyes on you... night disappeared
And I saw in you my child... ageless... unborn and undead altogether
I felt you as a woman... a priestess and a whore
A lover and a scum... stretched in purity...
extended in apathy... forsaken in chastity
Lost and reborn and spent in all forms of life as it once was.

The moment I laid eyes on you...
it was the exact moment when the ink of your butterfly lure
was spilled over the life span of a thousand lives
But all I had to spare... was one moment in time,
before I diminish in God's wrath...
